Metrofile is a successful record management, information management and filing solutions organisation that is as responsible to its business, as it is to business ethics and responsible practices. Each and every staff member at Metrofile is encouraged to follow certain principles in order to maintain the levels of their corporate social responsibility. These principles are as follows:

  • Pursue ethical business practices
  • Operate within the bounds of the law
  • Comply with international best practices
  • Conduct business in an environmentally sensitive manner
  • Re-use or recycle waste generated on all sites
  • Play an active role in the development, health and well-being of all staff
  • Use company resources to develop the local communities

Metrofile storage solutions also hold themselves in a position where they can encourage their customers, suppliers and partners to adopt the same or similar practices. In utilising their knowledge, technology and resources, especially when it comes to paper management solutions, the following practices can be put in place:

  • Adopt environmentally friendly practices
  • Develop and offer products and services that reduce wastage

Metrofile storage solutions and paper management schemes have all positively impacted the entire country. Some examples of where these efforts can be seen are:

  • Introduction of recycling schemes on all sites
  • Team members are encouraged to put their waste in said bins, the contents of which are sold and the funds invested in projects to support local communities
  • Move away from same day to a next day delivery service in order to limit the number of vehicles on the road, and thus reduce their carbon footprint
  • Supply of a scan on demand service to eliminate the need for physical records to be returned to customers
  • Financial assistance, in kind and transport assistance to local charities in need of a helping hand
  • The planting of trees
